Placement test

Check which group fits you best

The test is only indicative. It is not about scoring points, but about making a sensible match between the training group and your current level.

How to read the result

This test is designed to help place you in the right group. It contains ten problems on each of three different levels of difficulty. The test is only indicative.

It may happen that you solve some level three problems while struggling with a few easier ones. That is normal, which is why we look at the overall picture rather than a single result.

Regardless of your overall result, we suggest not checking the answers too quickly. Nobody will assign points, and finding the right solution on your own can be genuinely satisfying.

Good luck!

Quick guide

How to choose your group

If level one gives you serious trouble, we invite you to Group I. It would still be good to brush up a little beforehand.
If level one feels comfortable but levels two and three are too difficult, Group I is still the right place for you.
If you generally solve level two but level three is too demanding, we invite you to Group II.
If you solve a meaningful share of problems across all three levels, we invite you to Group III.
If you solved almost everything over breakfast, we still invite you to Group III, although you may get a little bored at times.
