GYBF is a youth bridge festival set in the summer energy of the Tricity area. Three days of workshops, tournaments and meetings with people who can truly spark passion for the game, competition and the whole vibe around it.

The participation fee includes workshops, tournaments, organisational support, hot meal on Thursday and an evening bonfire event.

Who it is for

Young players up to age 19

For participants building solid fundamentals and for players ready to move to a higher tournament level.

Format

3 skill groups

Participants choose their level during registration. We recommend taking the placement test first.

Workshop and lecture day

Card Museum, Trefl Foundation, Gdynia

  • 10:00–12:00 — workshops

During the workshop day, a one-hour visit to the Card Museum is planned.

Levels

A programme matched to real playing level

The training is divided into three groups with different levels of advancement. That means beginners are not overwhelmed and stronger players are not held back.

Before making the final choice, we recommend taking the test prepared by the coaches. It is the easiest way to find the path that will genuinely help you move up.

Coaches and experts

Speakers

Michał Nowosadzki

A World Grand Master and multiple medalist in junior and open events. He combines top-level competitive experience with many years of coaching young players.

Piotr Zatorski

A World International Master, coach and bridge promoter. He runs the Szlem Bridge School in Gdańsk and regularly works with young players.

Jakub Kasprzak

A World Bridge Federation and European Bridge League top Tournament Director. Chief TD of World Bridge Tour organization. Former Polish junior national player. He has been teaching bridge for nearly 30 years.
